Home Boarding
Jen began offering home boarding in January 2018, marking the very start of the business. She provides a true “home from home” boarding experience within her own home, where dogs stay alongside her resident dogs and are treated as part of the family.
Home boarding is available exclusively to dogs that regularly attend Doggie Towers Daycare Centre or participate in our Field Run sessions. This allows Jen to become familiar with each dog’s individual needs, routines, behaviour, and any medical requirements, ensuring they receive the best possible care during their stay.
All boarding dogs have full access to the downstairs areas of the home, including the kitchen, back room, conservatory, and a spacious garden where they can relax and enjoy their time.
Boarding dogs do not usually sleep upstairs overnight; however, exceptions can be made when necessary. For example, arrangements may be adjusted for dogs experiencing separation anxiety or those with medical conditions that require closer supervision.
During the week (Monday to Friday), all boarding dogs accompany us to the Daycare Centre, where they can enjoy free play, social interaction, plenty of sniffing opportunities, toy time, and exercise using our agility equipment.
At weekends, we enjoy adventure walks together, and on occasion we may even stop at a dog-friendly pub for lunch or dinner.
Pricing £40 per 24 hours £25 per additional dog
Home Boarding Services
Home boarding is charged at an overnight rate (per 24-hour period). For example, if you drop your dog off at 9:00am on the arrival date but collect them at 5:00pm on the collection date, a daycare charge will apply for the final day, as all home boarding dogs attend daycare Monday to Friday.
Additional charges apply on certain dates. You will be informed of these at the time of booking:
- Bank Holidays / Easter Bank Holidays: £5 additional charge per dog
- Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day: £7.50 additional charge per dog

Cancellations
- Bookings cancelled 4 weeks or less before your dog’s arrival date will incur a 50% charge.
- During half-term periods, bookings cancelled 6 weeks or less before the arrival date will incur a 50% charge.
- Bookings cancelled 3 weeks or less before the arrival date will require full payment.
Payments
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking:

- 1–3 nights: £10 deposit per dog
- 4–6 nights: £25 deposit per dog
- 7–9 nights: £50 deposit per dog
- 10 nights or more: 50% deposit required
If you need to cancel a booking that requires a larger deposit, please contact me to discuss this. I understand this can be a significant amount, and I will always do my best to work with you where possible.
If your holiday is cancelled for any reason, please check your travel insurance policy, as many providers now include cover for home boarding costs.

Trial Meet & Greet
Before providing any of our services, We like to arrange a meet and greet. This gives us the opportunity to meet in person and allows us to get to know your dog. During this time, we can also discuss any behavioural concerns, medical conditions, or allergies your dog may have to ensure I can provide the best possible care.
